My Approach

I believe in helping you feel great about yourself, and shining in your space.

 

I don’t believe in counting calories, beating yourself up, or feeling bad about the “shoulds”.  I do believe that feeling great is a lifestyle, it’s not just food, or movement, or self-care.  While all of those are vital to your health and well-being, I believe it is all of that and more.  Like going out to eat and completely immersing yourself in the flavors of your meal.  Connecting with your friends, laughing so hard you can barely breathe.  Being fully present with your family so that you have the loving relationships you desire. Moving through the tasks of the day while feeling confident and accomplished.  Feeling so complete at the end of the day, you drift off to sleep peacefully. And then wake up energized, happy to begin another day.

 

Together we design a plan for what your body needs to feel good: the foods that energize you and taste so good you crave them, the supplementation you may need to feel better, movement that is enjoyable to you, and ways to help you feel more rested.  And you still get to enjoy your “I’m-not-giving-these-up” foods.  I promise.  Because life without chocolate would just not be the same.  I know, I’ve tried.

 

We also incorporate the gift of self-care on a daily basis so that you are connecting to yourself.  Yes, even you.  Daily.  And without guilt.  We look at your beliefs at where you may be feeling stuck, in any aspect of your life, so we can help you move through and feel so much better for having done it. Getting the support and accountability you need gets you there so much faster and easier.

 

I also include for my clients an often-overlooked aspect of lasting change: How do you feel in your space?  This is important to you in your home as well as your workspace.  Is it messy and chaotic and that’s how you feel, too?  Do you not really think about it, it just is-what-it-is, but maybe it could be better?  Is it nurturing and supportive so you absolutely love being there, and feel like you can accomplish anything from that space, including creativity, letting down and letting go?  It’s possible.  Sometimes it only takes small adjustments, sometimes it requires more, but it is worth it.  And so are you.
